Sustainability information
Anthilia SGR in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 (“SFDR”) publishes information on the sustainability approach it has adopted.
The SGR recognises the importance of integrating environmental, social and governance criteria (“ESG criteria”) within its decision-making processes in order to steer its asset management activities towards long-term sustainability models.
Sustainability risk
The SGR also believes that ESG criteria are key factors for the creation of economic-financial value and, at the same time, recognises the importance of sustainability risks as elements that may have a negative impact on investments and managed portfolios.
Politica di investimento responsabile
As a signatory of the Principles for Responsible Investment, Anthilia SGR is committed to:
- integrate ESG criteria into its analysis and investment decision-making processes;
- to be an active shareholder and incorporate ESG criteria into its equity and bond policies and practices;
- demand adequate disclosure of ESG issues by companies invested in;
- promote the acceptance and application of PRI in the financial sector;
- collaborate with other signatories to improve the effectiveness of PRI implementation;
- report periodically on the activities and progress made in implementing PRI.
The PRI forms the basis of the policy of integrating ESG criteria into the responsible investment process adopted by the SGR.
Anthilia GAP
The information referred to in Article 10(1) of Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 and Articles 25 to 36 of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1288 of 6 April 2022 supplementing the SFDR is published below.
The Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) named “Anthilia GAP” is a reserved Italian closed-end mutual fund, of a securities type, established by the Board of Directors of Anthilia SGR on 28 March 2022.
Anthilia GAP belongs to the category of products referred to in Article 8 of the SFDR:
- promoting environmental or social characteristics, or a combination thereof, by verifying that the companies in which the investments are made comply with good governance practices, as defined in Article 8 of the SFDR Regulation;
- not having “sustainable investments” as an objective, as defined in Article 9 of the SFDR Regulation.
